Policies

To ensure a positive and safe experience for both dogs and their owners, we have outlined our policies and procedures below:

Reservations and Booking

All daycare and boarding services require advance reservations. Reservations can be made through our online portal, over the phone, or in person. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure bookings during peak seasons.

Health Requirements

All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. Dogs with signs of illness, including contagious conditions, will not be accepted.

Behavioral Assessments

New clients must schedule a behavioral assessment to ensure compatibility with our daycare environment.
Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior may be asked to leave or participate in additional training.

Feeding and Medication

Owners are required to provide detailed instructions regarding feeding, dietary restrictions, and medication administration.
Medications should be clearly labeled with dosage information.

Emergency Contact

Owners must provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information.
In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to contact the owner or designated emergency contact.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Times

Dogs should be dropped off after 3:00 PM on the first day of service and picked up before 11:00 AM on the last day of service.  Early Drop-offs or late pick ups, will incur a $25 daycare fee per dog.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Seasons (Non-Peak):

Cancellation Notice: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled drop-off time.

Fees: Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will incur a fee equivalent to one night’s boarding rate.

Peak Seasons (Holidays, Summer, Spring Break):

Cancellation Notice: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled drop-off time.

Fees: Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the total boarding reservation cost.

No-Shows:

Fees: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled reservation and do not provide notice will be charged the full cost of the reservation.

Early Returns:

If you pick up your dog earlier than the scheduled pickup date, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the original reservation.

Refunds:

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days.

Emergency Situations:

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will handle these on a case-by-case basis and may waive fees at our discretion.

Personal Belongings

Owners are encouraged to bring familiar items for their dogs, such as bedding or toys. The Puppy Playground is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
